Aikido Trial Class for International Visitors to Kyoto
Would you like to experience Japanese Aikido during your visit to Kyoto?
We warmly welcome international visitors to join our Aikido classes.
Advance reservations are not required, but we kindly ask you to contact us through the contact form in advance if possible. This will help us prepare and make your visit smoother.
Before You Join
- Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the class starts. (We will provide a brief explanation and allow time to change clothes.)
- If you have a keikogi (training uniform), please bring it. Otherwise, comfortable sportswear is acceptable.
- Please bring your own drink.
- Classes are conducted mainly in Japanese, but we will provide assistance in English as much as possible.
About Participation
- Those with Aikido experience are welcome to join the practice.
- Beginners are welcome to observe the class. If you wish, we may offer a brief hands-on experience.
Visitor Fee
- First-time participation: 1,100 yen per person, per session
- Second time and thereafter: 2,200 yen per person, per session
- Observation only: Free of charge
