Aikido training in Kyoto continues through December — here is our schedule for the final month of the year.

There will be no training on Saturday, December 13 due to facility reasons, and Saturday, December 27, and Monday, December 29, due to the New Year holidays.
Except for these days, regular practice will be held as usual on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at the Kyoto Budo Center under the instruction of our Shihan. Let’s bring this year’s training to a strong finish.
The first training of the new year at the Kyoto Budo Center Dojo will be held on Thursday, January 8.
✅ Osaka Aikikai New Year’s Eve Training
The traditional Osaka Aikikai New Year’s Eve Training will be held from December 31 to January 1. All members of Aikikai-affiliated dojos are welcome to participate.

✅ Osaka Aikikai Kagamibiraki Ceremony
The Osaka Aikikai New Year’s Ceremony, Kagamibiraki, will be held as follows. Everyone is welcome to attend—no prior registration is required.
Date: Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 11:30 a.m.
Venue: Osaka Aikikai Headquarters Dojo, 2nd Floor
Program: Opening Remarks / Dedication Demonstration / Presentation of Promotion Candidates / Kagamibiraki / Social Gathering
Participation Fee: 1,000 yen (please pay at the reception desk on the day)
